Hello Car Audio Fanatics,

Heads up: a new video drops Wednesday with a detailed comparison of using an oscilloscope versus a multimeter to set amplifier gains. Which method gets you the cleanest, highest unclipped output signal? We put both to the test.

If you're unable to download the update, shoot me an email and I'll send it over. Quick question: would you prefer future updates delivered to your inbox, or just a link to grab them yourself?

I've added my contact info, four channels for planning your target voltage for speakers, and one for subwoofers. Download the update here. If you have any additions you'd like to see, feel free to reach out.

Did you get a chance to see the DS18 video? Regardless of brand, I think this is amazing technology — both for the environment and for saving people money. Worth noting: this didn't come from one of the big players in the industry. It came from a small company, and I think that deserves a like and a share. Give them some credit where it's due! Video linked below.

If you have any questions about your setup, or want to bounce some ideas off me, send me an email. I'm also collecting questions for an upcoming Q&A — let me know what topics you want me to dive deep on!

Reach out at [email protected] or on Facebook.

We're working on a collaboration with two other creators covering the Zapco HB810 DSP — updates to come as they're available. One creator will be covering the power output, another will be going through the inner workings of the unit, and I'll be walking through the PC and app interface.
